Free Breakfast for Kids
I recently had the honor of volunteering with the Sankofa Children's Free Breakfast Program and learning about the inspiring work of Suncere Ali Shakur. Suncere, on a budget of $0, has created a free breakfast program for children at the Pisgah View Apartment complex in West Asheville.
Over the last 12 weeks he has provided around 700 free breakfasts by cooking food donated by local restaurants.
