Sylvia van Meerten

I am a Community Services Coordinator for the Autism Society of North Carolina. Most of my time is spent designing and implementing home-programs for families with autism in the Asheville area, hiring and training one-on-ones, and measuring goal progress for the individuals we serve. Homeschooling is special interest of mine, and I spend some time assisting local families in beginning, or fine-tuning their home-school practices. I am pursuing a Masters degree in counseling psychology, and I have a slight obsession with exercising(especially jump-roping), sports, and competition.
