Sarah Yerkey

I am the Director of Corporate Relations for Montreat College School of Professional and Adult Studies located in Asheville, NC. Our degree programs are designed specifically for busy, working adults who have the desire to complete their college degree, but who may not have time to return to school in a traditional format. Our students attend class just one night per week in Asheville and focus on taking just one course at a time. We offer the following adult-focused degree programs: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Management and Leadership, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Management, and Associate of Science in Business.

As the Director of Corporate Relations at Montreat College School of Professional and Adult Studies, my goal is to work with companies to realize the advantages of education in the workplace. As a result, our corporate partners have experience lower turnover rates and have promoted education as a strong tool for recruitment. Our program is exploding because employers are utilizing us as a retention tool. There is a simple equation that works. When employees feel the company they work for cares about their personal and professional development morale goes up, employees work harder for that company, and stay with that company. I would like to be a resource for your company to accomplish that goal too.

I am currently helping companies in the Asheville area by:

• conducting on-site Lunch & Learns
• speaking briefly at staff meetings
• providing payroll stuffers & flyers
• participating in benefits and education fairs
