Kabir Mahadeva

As a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist ®, he is one of a very select number of professionals who have earned advanced certification in assisting clients to achieve financial goals including funding retirement, paying for college, optimizing cash flow, reducing tax costs, and increasing net worth. Kabir has originated loans since 2001 and enjoys working with all types of borrowers. He takes the time to educate them and make sure they have the information needed to make sound decisions. Kabir can originate loans and assist clients in most states.

Kabir earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his masters from Boston University. He enjoyed a 20 year engineering and management career in information technology before becoming a mortgage banker.

Kabir, his wife, a visual artist, and their dog and cat live in downtown Asheville and love the area's diversity and natural beauty. They enjoy travel, collecting antiques, hiking, kayaking, and volunteering in the community. Kabir donates a portion of his income from every loan to support animal welfare organizations.
