Jody Hymes

Jody has been a mineral dealer since 1983. She was one of the first Feng Shui teachers and Feng Shui consultants in the Washington DC area in the 1990's. As co-owner of New Earth in Black Mountain, she continues both these interests. The store sells minerals, beads, jewelry, Earth-inspired art, books, and Feng Shui goods. With a long professional background in fundraising and organizational development, Jody currently puts these talents to work as Chair of the Marketing Council of the Black Mountain/Swannanoa Chamber of Commerce, and as a consultant with various businesses and nonprofits in the Asheville area.
