Jessica Gualano

Jessica Gualano is the owner of Asheville Wine Consulting, a wine education company founded in 2007. AWC teaches wine classes to the public, private in-home or reception-style wine tastings, and provides wine consulting services to both private individuals and professional businesses.

She is also the Wine Director at Hops & Vines in West Asheville.

In March of 2008, Jessica launched Asheville's first women's wine tasting group, Girls on Grapes. GonG meets on a monthly basis and the club now celebrates over 200 members!

Her newest project is The Grand Crew, a monthly co-ed tasting club for all wine lovers!

Jessica has spent 10 years in the wine industry, beginning a student in France in 1998. She has served as restaurant wine director, wine rep, and private wine consultant and educator.

Her goal is to facilitate a more intimate wine experience for her clients by equipping them with a few tools! That's really all it takes!

Jessica is a member of the Society of Wine Educators and is currently persuing Level 3 WSET Certification.
