Real Estate Research Tools and Statistics
When beginning your real estate search in Asheville or Western North Carolina the best place to begin is the Western NC Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The MLS is a database of homes and properties for sale in greater Western North Carolina and contains detailed information about each allowing for advanced searching. The MLS lists all homes listed using a real estate agent and many of the homes which are being sold by the owner, “For Sale by Owner.” Our Asheville Real Estate home page contains a basic MLS Search box. Use this search box to begin our search for real estate in the Asheville area. Once you have made a basic search you will be able to apply more advanced searching features from our MLS Search partner’s website.
In addition to the WNC MLS we also have included to following tools to help with your real estate research.

The Buncombe County website offers access to their interactive mapping system, which includes advanced search options. To begin simply read the usage agreement and then click the button at the bottom of the page.
