Appalachian Vintner is an expansive wine & beer retailer serving the greater Asheville area. Offering small production, artisanal craft brews from the domestic market as well as the best from the international craft beer scene. All products are offered at discounts for volume purchases and beers are also available as mix and match six-packs. Weekly beer tastings are provided at no cost to those in attendance and beer dinners are scheduled at many of Ashevilles best locally owned restaurants. In addition to craft beers we offer a huge assortment of beer glasses, local art, and agricultural products such as cheese, jam, and fudge. Our location is conveniently located just two miles south of downtown, and a quarter mile north of the historic Biltmore Village. Earth Fare was one of the first grocery stores to pioneer the art of microbrew in our Asheville store. When we were still "Dinner for the Earth," we even sold brew supplies and taught classes on how to make your own (there wasn’t a whole lot to do in the mountains of Western North Carolina back then)!
