Locally brewed beer, pizza and movies...whoever came up with this idea should receive a prize. This establishment called Brew'n'View, is a riotously popular joint where you can "catch a flick while lounging on a sofa, drinking a microbrew, and scarfing a veggie pizza." The locals just love this place, and what is not to love? A full menu, game room, in-house brewery and some amazing murals define this as a true Asheville Treasure. Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company is hip, cool and crowded in a good way and is more of an experience, not just a restaurant or bar.

Adorning the Westville Pub’s logo it says, "Think Global, Drink Local" and that is what this place is all about. Up until 2008 the Westville Pub, located in the heart of West Asheville, was the only real pub in West Asheville. The atmosphere is very friendly and it is off the usual tourist route. This is definitely a local’s bar with no smoking inside but a wildly popular out back smoker’s patio. The food is standard pub fair and the clientele ranges from weird Lexington Avenue punks and hippies (unique to Asheville) to suits and just about everything in-between. The beer selection isn’t huge with 15 taps and 48 bottles but it covers a great range of flavors and no taps are wasted on low end mass produced shwag beer. There is always a good crowd in this West Asheville favorite, even on week nights and music can be enjoyed here Tuesday – Thursday and on Saturdays.
