Waterfalls in Wilkes County, NC - Cascade Falls, Betseys Rock Falls
Wilkes County is located just over 100 miles east and slightly north of Asheville. Because if its proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, we have selected two waterfalls in Wilkes County to feature in our waterfalls guide. Both Cascade Falls and Betseys Rock Falls are accessible from the Parkway.

Directions: Drive to milepost 271.9 on the Blue Ridge Parkway and park your car in the parking area for E.B. Jeffress Park. The Trailhead is located just past the restrooms.
Trail Length: The trail is a 1.2 mile loop.
Trail Difficulty: Easy
Betsey's Rock Falls
Directions: Follow the directions for Cascade Falls, but continue north on the Blue Ridge Parkway past the parking area at E.B. Jeffress Park. The Betseys Rock Falls overlook is located four more miles down the road on your right.
Trail Length: Falls can be viewed from the roadside.
Trail Difficulty: No sweat! The roadside view is handicapped accessible.
