Psychic Healing or Spiritual Healing is the channeling of energies or life force by the healer to re-energize the patient to deal with illness, injury or prevent emotional or physical problems. As in the practice of Reiki, eastern healers often channel and direct chi, ki and prana for healing purposes. This type of healing is said to speed up and help recovery from serious illness and major surgery and from the effects of treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Psychic or Spiritual healing is often used to complement conventional medicine. This type of non-evasive healing has been know in traditional cultures for thousands of years and is now beginning to be recognized in the West as a valid method for the cure and prevention of disease.
