Nutrition is the natural process all living being's use to transform food and use the components of those foods to fuel growth and development. We need good nutrition to be healthy. Everyone’s needs are a little different and it is the responsibility of the nutritionist to consider the proper balance of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals to maintain health and treat illness. There are many different schools of nutrition that advocate the use of various diets and dietary supplements. Modern day nutritionists use several sophisticated biochemical tests using the client’s, blood, urine, hair etc. to help evaluate the client’s nutritional needs.
