The Asheville Community Theatre got its start back on June 12, 1946 with a small notice in the local paper. Today Asheville proudly calls the ACT it�s longest running community theatre group. They provide marvelous productions ranging from mystery to comedy, and everything in between. In addition to excellent performances, the ACT provides theatre classes, costume & equipment rentals, and even a Community Outreach program.
