Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts is an educational program of Higwater Clays. The mission of the studio school is to promote understanding, appreciation and professional development in the ceramic arts. The spirit and programs of Odyssey are based on the philosophy that every individual's creative capacity is greatly enhanced by a generous community and challenging instruction. We believe that within each individual lies the potential for creative development.

Odyssey Center for the Ceramic Arts is an educational program of Highwater Clays, Inc., located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. The mission of our studio school is to promote understanding, appreciation and professional development in the ceramic arts. This is accomplished through a community-based educational program which includes lectures and gallery exhibitions, as well as hands-on classes and workshops for beginners, pre-professional, and professional artists and craftspeople. The spirit and the programs of Odyssey are based on the philosophy that every individual's capacity is greatly enhanced by community and creative activity.
