Time: 9pm

Admission: $15 advance/$18 day of show

Jim Weider, former member of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Band, is a master of classic telecaster guitar. Project Percolator represents Jim's newest musical venture into a powerful groove & jam guitar-driven band. The all-star line up features multi-grammy award-winner Rodney Holmes on drums (Santana, Steve Kimock Band), Mitch Stein on guitar (Steve Kimock Band) and Steve Lucas on bass (Bruce Cockburn). Jim blends rock and blues with funk and jazz grooves, combining modern drum loops and samples to melodic ballads. The band's amazing improvisation and chemistry from worldwide touring provides a show that is both exciting and mesmerizing. Project Percolator is a new musical direction for Jim Weider -- big guitars with modern grooves. This is a powerful show that takes you on a journey.

Jim has been featured on numerous albums and in several films, videos and television appearances. Highlights include: a 1990 performance with The Band and Ronnie Hawkins at The Berlin Wall (produced by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd), 'The Bob Dylan Tribute' at Madison Square Garden, the 1994 Woodstock Festival's televised concert 'The Road', and his 1995 appearance on the A&E biography of The Band.

Some folks have been known to have a little trouble finding the Gray Eagle for the first time as it's not located in a pedestrian-heavy area. Once they locate it between Future Traditions warehouse and the Silver Dollar cafe though, they'll see that it's really not that far from all the downtown action and stands guard over Asheville's River Arts District. Quaint and cozy, the Gray Eagle seems to be a modified house-turned-listening room. The Eagle has always been known for it's crystal clear sound, bluegrass, zydeco, and contra dancing. Recently, they have been making a name for themselves on the indie rock circuit, with Harvest Records presenting a series of concerts there. You can go hungry to the Gray Eagle because it hosts the Twin Cousins Kitchen, serving up authentic Cajun cuisine. The Gray Eagle has a capacity of just over 600 people and is NON-SMOKING. All ages are welcome, beer and wine is served.
