Asheville Arts and Entertainment
The arts and entertainment scene is Asheville and Western North Carolina is truely amazing. The local and touring music scene is incredible. The Asheville area is home to a number of significant tours, day trips, museums and historical attractions. During the spring and summer months Asheville and surrounding communities host a number of large events and festivals. Theatre, dance and other performing arts also play a large and active roll in Asheville's cultural scenery. Last but not least, Asheville and the surrounding towns are home to a lively community of artists and crafters, many of whom open their studios for live tours, and display their works in the wide array of local art galleries. For a true taste of Asheville art, don't forget to visit the River Arts District.
