Vic Chesnutt, tiny mtns (local), & Pilgrim (local) at The Grey Eagle 9/10/09
Asheville local singer/songwriter Elijah Wyman's new project tiny mtns is sandwiched between renowned songwriter Vic Chesnutt and another local new to the AVL scene Pilgrim this Thursday night at The Grey Eagle. Vic Chesnutt (Constelation Records, recorded albums with the likes of Silver Mt. Zion & Elf Power) is not to be missed. Last time he was in the area he opened at The Eagle for Silver Mt. Zion Orchestra to a packed house. The night promises to be a great showing of indie folks artists, all living in the south.
tiny mtns is fresh off a tiny tour from Massachusetts all the way home. Rumor has it that Mark Capon of Harvest Records fame will be lending a hand on several songs playing bass or guitar.
Thursday September 10th - 9pm. $10 advance/$12 day of show.
Advance tickets available online and at Harvest Records. This is a fully seated show so come out, grab a Pisgah Pale and some fried green tomatoes at Twin Cousins.
