RiverLink Had a Blast at the Winter Warmer Beer Festival

RiverLink was honored to be the beneficiary at the third annual Winter Warmer Beer Festival. The event was hosted by Asheville Brews Cruise, ThreeSheets: Design, French Broad Brewing Co. and The Haywood Park Hotel, and fantastic hosts they were! The beer was flowing from nineteen different breweries, the food was incredible from The Lobster Trap, and a wonderful variety of music kept dancing all night.
RiverLink's Karen Cragnolin is all smiles with Brews Cruise organizers Lauronda Teeple, Trish and Mark Lyons and Chris Richards, Brew Master at French Broad Brewery (one of the participating breweries!)

RiverLink is pleased to announce that we received $1,500 from the event, all of which goes towards building walking and biking trails in the French Broad River Watershed.
According to Karen Cragnolin, executive director of RiverLink, "you need good clean water to produce good beer so there is a natural symbiotic connection between the fabulous micro breweries here in WNC and all the programs and volunteers we have on the river to protect it."
