New Media: It Changes the Game - Are Your Ready to Play?
On Monday, October 19, the American Advertising Federation of Asheville (AAFA) will host "The Power of New Media and Social Networking," an educational seminar that explores the world of new media. The program will be led by Dave Saunders, President and Chief Idea Officer of award-winning, advertising and new media agency Madison+Main in Richmond, VA. Saunders, a nationally recognized thought leader in marketing, branding and social media, has been hailed as a "new media expert" by The Wall Street Journal and New York Times.
Program topics include: maximizing online marketing and engaging customers using social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube; new media trends, effective strategies, best practices and industry case studies. Following the program, Ty Hallock, CEO of Top Floor Studio in Asheville, will moderate a discussion panel of social media experts from across the WNC region. AAFA monthly programs and workshops are open to everyone.
The event will be held at Posana Cafe, 1 Biltmore Avenue, in downtown Asheville near Pack Square. Admission is $20 for members and $30 for guests, including a full lunch.
