New Accounting Firm Opens in Asheville
CPA Stephanie Weil Brings 20 Years Experience to Western North Carolina
Stephanie A. Weil CPA PLLC, a full-service accounting firm serving the personal and business needs of the community of Asheville and throughout Western North Carolina, is now open for business at 40 North Merrimon Ave., Suite 302, in Asheville. The principal of the new firm is Stephanie A. Weil, 45, who has more than 20 years of accounting and auditing experience. "Asheville businesses face increasing challenges as accounting and financial reporting becomes increasingly more complex," say Weil, who has served two terms as the President of the Western Chapter of the North Carolina Association of CPAs. "My firm was formed in response to the increased need for tax compliance and accounting services, performed by an independent, knowledgeable professional who puts customer service first."
In addition to a wide range of tax services, Weil will also provides traditional financial statements, and reviews. She also provides consulting services such as business valuations, financial forecasting, and benchmarking. Weil started her venture on a part-time basis more than two years ago while the Controller for an Asheville-based business. During the past two years, she has helped a number of Western North Carolina individuals and businesses, such as Farm & Sparrow Bakery and Michael Hofman Studios, solve difficult and time-consuming accounting and tax issues.

Stephanie Weil earned her MBA in finance from DePaul University and her B.A. in Spanish and Business Administration from Illinois State University. Stephanie is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs, where she serves as President of the Western Chapter. She is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and National Society of Accountants. She lives in Asheville with her husband, Marty.
