Mojo Coworking officially opens Friday, April 1 - with nearly all the long-term private desks and the Mojo office already under contract. "The response has been overwhelming," says Mojo Coworking co-founder, Craig McAnsh. "Our collaborative open floor plan is very appealing and everyone who visits seems immediately drawn to the energy of our downtown location."

The office decor is modern, highly functional and fun. Nine desks line the wall of bright windows facing Pritchard Park while leather sofas and a large flat panel television in the lounge area adds to the comfort and energy of the space. A 13 foot marble and oak Mojo Bar was recently installed along one of the walls to accommodate drop-in and daily members. And there is a large grouping of desks that can seat six flex members who are looking for a little more space to spread out.
In addition to anchor partner, Native Marketing, the Mojo Members who have already signed up for space include a social media/marketing agency, an internet entrepreneur, a bookkeeping/IT and web design business, a life & project design consultant, and a marketing/PR agency expanding to Asheville from Boulder, CO.

"Mojo Coworking is a dream come true," reports Justin Belleme, founder of JB Media Group. "Back in October, when doing the visioning and business planning for JB Media Group, I had a crystal clear vision of an artistic, modern downtown office with a state of the art conference room and a very open floor plan allowing for a highly collaborative work environment. Mojo exceeds my expectations. We are extremely excited to move in and meet the rest of the coworkers in April."

HATCH Experience // Asheville will be headquartered at Mojo Coworking beginning this week in anticipation of the April 14 - 17 event, and will possibly become a permanent non-profit member. Through one of the other coworkers, TEDx Next Generation is also considering membership.

In addition to an open coworking office environment, Mojo Coworking will also offer conference room rental for meetings, classes, video conferencing and focus group research. Asheville based TaskMania has already contracted the Mojo Conference Room for computer/software training classes over the next six months beginning April 18th.

Information about hourly, daily and other coworking rates as well as conference room details are on the website at mojocoworking.com "We encourage anyone in the area to drop in and check us out," says co-founder Andrea McAnsh. "Once you see the space, feel the energy and understand the technology available (including wide format, high-resolution color printing, state-of-the-art conference room, mailboxes, phone service, HD Video Conferencing, private lockers, kitchen) ... we think you'll want to plug in and turn on."
