Help Asheville FM Build Studio B

Asheville FM needs your help to raise funding for general operations, as well as to create Studio B. Having a second production studio at the station will allow us to broadcast live, in-studio music, and will also provide a much needed production space for our shows that require pre-produced audio. Additional funds raised will help the station pay ongoing expenses and acquire additional equipment.
How You Can Help:
1. Visit our donation form at: http://www.ashevillefm.org/support and donate $5 or more. If you are feeling generous make your donation a monthly recurring donation. Monthly donations help us reach sustainable cash flow to pay our bills. If you have the resources, please donate accordingly.
2. Invite your Facebook friends to this event so that they can help as well.
3. Utilize your other networks; such as email, twitter, blogs, online newsletters, Facebook fan pages, or personal websites to share links to this event.
Our Studio B Budget
Studio B will cost nearly $2000 to construct and get to operational.
Here are some of the costs associated:
$400 for a mixer,
2x$100 for mics,
$50 for cables,
2x$90 for booms,
$160 sound card(s),
and $100 compressor.
Studio B is only a small portion of our 2010 budget. In order to pay rent, music licensing fees, and to maintain our equipment we will need to generate $1,500 per month. Please consider making a monthly recurring donation to help Asheville FM succeed.
