Internationally acclaimed author and medicine woman Rosalyn L. Bruyere and Qi Gong Master Ken Weintrub will be lecturing at the UNCA campus at the Reuter Center on June 17th and holding a weekend Workshop June 18th and 19th at Laughing Waters Retreat Center near Gerton, NC.

Reputed as one of the nation's most successful healers, Bruyere teaches at several universities across the nation and is acknowledged by the keepers of medicine and shamanic traditions on several continents. She wrote Wheels of Light, which is heralded as a bridge between science and mysticism that provides essential keys to understanding ourselves and our evolutionary journey. Bruyere frequently collaborates with physicians and scientists, including Dr. Valerie Hunt and UCLA, looking at the human energy field and patterns of disease.

Lynn Andrews, author of Medicine Woman calls Bruyere a "true healer's healer." "With integrity and grace Rosalyn connects the physical realms with the dimensions of spirit," Andrews says.

The workshop, Energy Healing For Those Who Care, is for those who work with others and serve others. "Healing and health should be a cooperative effort between patient, physician and healer," says Bruyere.

"Pastors and politicians, nurses and doctors are all affected by energy as they work with people. All healers, and for that matter, all humans could benefit from understanding this energy and how it works," she continues.

The workshop will focus on a deeper understanding of the energy body for both the patient and the healer, through exercises and techniques that Rosalyn and Ken have developed during their forty years of experience healing and teaching others
