French Broad River Fishing Report - September 28th, 2011

Fall fishing has been really good this week. The French Broad has cleared up since last weekend; conditions are close to ideal now. Fish have been active most of the day as a result of cooler temperatures, though mid-morning and mid-afternoon still are the strongest bites. Weeds are pretty thick in some areas, so a weedless presentation option is good to have. Covering water remains a key now as smallmouth are spread out widely in runs and shoal areas. Target areas in slack current and inside eddy lines. Contact Chris Manderson, 828 216-1336, or visit www.whitewatersportsman.com for more information about fishing the river.
