French Broad River Fishing Report - May 1st, 2012
Smallmouth fishing in the French Broad River continues to be very good; trips averaged about 25 per float this week. Storms recently have stained the river, so bright colors and scented presentations have been the best bets. We are finding the most action in the shallower runs and shoals now. Spawn is coming very soon, so catch and release is recommended for the next few weeks. Call Chris Manderson at 828 216-1336 or visit www.whitewatersportsman.com for more information about fishing the FBR.
