The river was stained pretty badly all this past week and didn't fish very well at all. Catch rates were low, 10 or less mostly, due to this lack of water clarity. Going forward, the weather pattern is forecast to be drier over the next 10 days. The river has already dropped down to normal flows for this time of year and is clearing some. So, fishing should be good for the next week to 10 days. Try bright colored lures and scented plastics are good while some stain persists, then switch to natural patterns as the water clears.
