French Broad River Fishing Report - 06/24/2009
The French Broad is fishing great; water clarity has improved greatly and the smallmouth are very active. River flows are under 2 feet and have stabilized. Activity seems best in the mid-mornings and mid-afternoons; try to avoid noonday heat for best results. Smallmouth are in the summertime pattern. Crankbaits and spinnerbaits fished in shoal areas are effective now, as is topwater in the early mornings.
