Autism Consulting and Training, Inc. now provides in-home, educational services for children and families affected by Autism in Asheville, North Carolina. We work on academics, behavior, social skills, sensory issues and communication. We create and implement visual strategies to assist with self-help skills, structure, and routine. We also provide parents with strategies to help with homework. Our goal is to bridge the gap between home and school by creating an individualized, structured home program. We believe in the importance of respecting your child's needs. Therefore we use music, movement, structured work tasks, and fun activities to accommodate your child's varied learning styles. Certified, special education teachers implement the goals and objectives created by the Director, Jennifer Strauss, M.Ed. We adhere to the Florida Sunshine State Standards and The North Carolina Course of Study.
