Dear Bubbi,

What do you think of a friend who promises to visit three different times and then cancels out all the visits at the last minute! Besides the time and expense I spent shopping for her favorite foods, cleaning the house and rearranging MY schedule, I think it's just downright rude!

Dear Angry Friend,

A very rude friend in my opinion! You have every right to be annoyed and hopefully, you've told her this already. (At least after she pulled the same stunt three times.) On the bright side... your house is nice and clean so go out and have some fun!

Dear Bubbi,

My three sisters and I go away together once a year for a "sisters only" trip. I always have fun and really look forward to it. This year, I can't afford to participate in the trip. I don't know how to break it to my sisters that I can't join them. I know they will be upset and might even offer to help me pay for the trip. Any advice would be appreciated.

Dear Sad Sister,

Just tell your sisters what's going on in your life. They're your sisters and they'll understand. If they offer to help you pay for the trip, take them up on the offer. I'm sure you would be there for one of them, if they needed assistance. Don't let pride stand in the way. Go and enjoy!
