Dear Bubbi,

I've been dating this woman for two months and she's still stringing along her ex. She claims they're just good friends, but the way they act together makes me feel like she's keeping him around in case things don't work out with us. I want to say something, but I don't want to come across as a jealous boyfriend. Any suggestions?

Dear Irritated Boyfriend,

Sounds like your girlfriend isn't quite sure what she wants. I think you need to take a step back and look at this relationship. It's still fairly new and I agree that having an ex boyfriend in the picture is questionable. I suggest you come out and tell your girlfriend that you don't want to date a woman who keeps an old boyfriend hanging around. Her reaction should tell you what you need to know.

Lately, I've been in a bad mood at work and I feel like my coworkers are avoiding me. It all started when my boss (who is usually calm) chewed me out for no reason in front of the whole office. I felt like such a jerk! I like this job, but I don't know if I can make things right again. What should I do?

Dear Moody Guy,

I say, "Let it go!" Put that miserable scenario behind you and move on. You claim you like your job, so why look for problems. Maybe your boss was having an off day and you bore the consequences. Come to work smiling and watch how your coworkers react. Happiness is contagious!
