AIR Brings Back the Main Course Dining Program for 2010

The Asheville Independent Restaurant Association (AIR) is pleased to announce the return of the Main Course Dining program with buy one get one free values all over Asheville. The Main Course Dining coupon book provides diners with more than 35 buy one get one free entree deals at 18 independent restaurants in the Asheville community.
"The Main Course Dining program is a tremendous value! For only $50 diners can enjoy $600 worth of savings at some of the finest and most unique restaurants in our community," says Kevin Schwartz, president of the Independent Restaurant Association.
To celebrate the return of the Main Course Dining Program the participating restaurants are hosting a Taste of Asheville celebration on November 19 from 7-9 p.m. at The Venue on Market Street in downtown Asheville. The Taste of Asheville will feature small plate entrees from each of the following independent restaurants:

- Ed Boudreaux's Bayou Bar-B-Que

Tickets to the Taste of Asheville are on sale through the AIRAsheville.org website for $50 per person or $75 per couple; these tickets include the 2010 Main Course Dining coupon book, a $600 value. Proceeds from the program support AIR's promotion of Asheville Independent Restaurants and provides support for the Chefs of Tomorrow scholarship to the AB Tech Culinary School.

The Asheville Independent Restaurant Association (AIR) was formed in fall of 2002 as a volunteer organization dedicated to fostering a stronger business environment for Asheville's locally owned and operated independent restaurants. On April 14, 2004 AIR was recognized as a 501(a) non-profit organization. In 2008 the AIR Foundation was formed to fund culinary scholarships.The mission of AIR is to cooperatively promote the common interests of and contribute to the well being of those locally owned independent restaurants and individuals engaged in the food service/hospitality industry in Asheville, North Carolina.
