A Feng Shui Economic Tip for 2009, or Show Me the Money
Is there less jingle in your jeans this year? That seems to be true for just about everyone but workers in the Spam factory, who reportedly are on overtime as the rest of us economize.
Here's a feng shui tip, good only until the end of January 2010, designed to increase opportunities to make money. It's also an easy way for you to try out a little piece of feng shui, even if you are very, very skeptical about the whole concept. If you see results, this might change your mind.
Here's what you do. You determine where north is in your home, apartment, or business. Then you get a bowl, one you like, not an old whipped cream container. This may be more effective if the bowl is yellow, gold, or white in color, or if it is made of metal. Put water in your bowl without splashing or running the water really fast. Then place the bowl inside your building in the north in a relatively quiet spot. It isn't a drinking bowl for your pets or a place to rinse your hands. What you are doing is placing still water in the north.
Then go and buy a lottery ticket...no, wait. It doesn't work that way. What this will do is increase opportunities to make money, but the caveat is that they are not easy opportunities. You should almost immediately see income potential, but to capitalize on this, you must also work to make it happen.
Why the north? The north is where the Annual Star 5 is this year. The current time cycle makes this star untimely, so generally it brings bad juju. It is, though, called The Emperor. Still water is an invitation to The Emperor to show his better side.
There is a bit of danger in doing this without a full feng shui reading, because the water may negatively affect the other stars in the north of your building. There is no way to know without an audit, because all buildings have unique influences. Be observant if you try this. If in the next several days, you see financial opportunities coming forward, it works for you. If, instead, negative things happen, remove the bowl as soon as you realize this. It is not an appropriate remedy for your space. Water is powerful and needs to be used with care.
