Buying just one $10 raffle ticket in the Save the French Broad River Raffle gets you 8 chances to win some great outdoor gear while supporting RiverLink to clean up the French Broad River! Sponsored by Asheville Adventure Guide, the raffle will have a monthly drawing from May 2009 through December 2009.

Prize packages are valued at over $4000 and include such great gear as Eagle Nest Outfitters double nest, hammock, MSR Elbow Room 2 Tent, Watershed's ZipDry Largo Tote and Osprey Kestrel 48 Technical Backpack. Prize packages also include gift certificates, tickets, lodging and services from local Asheville businesses including Asheville Outdoor Center river trip for two, Graystone Cabin two night stay and Climbmax bouldering packages.

You can purchase tickets and see some of the gear you can win at the RiverLink & Asheville Adventure Guide information booth at the Gearhead event on Saturday April 25th from 9am-5pm at the WNC Agricultural Center. RiverLink will also be selling tickets during the Diamond Brand Kayak Demos Day on Sunday April 26 at Lake Julian Shelter # 4 from 11am-4pm.
Tickets can also be purchased online at www.riverlink.org or www.advguides.org with first drawing on Saturday May 9th at RiverLink's French Broad River Fins & Gills Classic fishing derby event. Winners need not be present.
