Local kid-hop act, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo has shown again and again that he knows how to throw a party. Last Saturday's DVD release party at the Grey Eagle was no exception. 23 has an energy and stage presence that keeps your feet movin' whether you have diapers or dentures. Skidoo, along with his wife, Brooke and daughter, Saki have been making kids hip hop music for a couple years now and have received national attention with their debut album, Easy.

The show started out with a magical performance by Hobie Ford. His animal puppet act took the viewer through the life of a caterpillar as it transformed into a butterfly and peered into the life of an alligator and a turtle. 23 and family followed with the type of show that their broad local following has come to expect. After the show Skidoo signed copies of his DVD for anyone who purchased one.

The DVD lets us finally bring the 23 Skidoo life experience into our homes with a whole set recorded at the Grey Eagle. The DVD also features music videos for two of the most popular songs from Easy, Gotta Be Me, the song that started it all, and Family Tree, in which Saki and 23 rhyme back and forth playing off of each other's lines.
